Santa Barbara County Riding Club

Horsemanship Challenge

Sponsored by

Mission Equine Associates

Since 1944

Our goal is to encourage and reward junior riders who strive to become true horseman and provide a scholarship to help further their equestrian education. The competition will be two phases designed to test horsemanship knowledge at a local club level and be a feeder program to larger horsemanship challenges.

The SBCRC Horsemanship Challenge is designed to encourage riders of all equine and financial backgrounds to develop a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the hunter/jumper sport, their equine partners and an awareness of equestrian history.
